The Museum of the Mississippi Delta is at the crossroads of regional history and art, spotlighting the art, archaeology, agriculture, antiques and animals of the Mississippi Delta.
In addition to exhibiting Southern art by the celebrated area artists, the Museum boasts displays dedicated to the agricultural history of the region; prehistoric fossils; Native American pottery; military history; artifacts and furniture from Malmaison, the home of former Choctaw Chief and Senator Greenwood Leflore; a walk-through diorama of a Mississippi swamp; and the Children’s Discovery Room.
