The Florida Botanical Gardens is a 182-acre botanical garden that showcases flora, fauna, and natural resources while promoting environmentally-friendly cultural techniques.
More than 30 acres of cultivated gardens include a wide variety of Demonstration Gardens, Formal Gardens and Natural Areas make up the Florida Botanical Gardens. Paved paths run throughout the gardens and a boardwalk passes over sensitive wetlands and into shady woods. Outdoor artwork is found throughout the gardens. Three bridges cross McKay's Creek to connect the gardens.
The south bridge connects to Heritage Village, a group of historic houses relocated to this site from around the Pinellas County area.
