Established in 1934, Fort Worth Botanic Garden is the oldest major botanic garden in Texas. It is located in the heart of the cultural district.
In addition to wooded areas, major garden features include themed gardens include a Four Seasons Garden - with hundreds of iris, daylily, and chrysanthemum varieties, Fragrance, Rose, perennial and Japanese Gardens.
Also a 10,000 square foot Conservatory, Native Texas Boardwalk and a Water Conservation Garden, and a Begonia Species Bank -- the largest begonia collection in the United States.
