The David J. Sencer CDC Museum, a Smithsonian Affiliate, uses exhibits and innovative programing to educate visitors about the value of public health, and presents the rich heritage and vast accomplishments of CDC.
Four temporary exhibitions are mounted each year to supplement the permanent installations. While it is not an art museum, per se, temporary exhibitions occasionally present art and design that relates thematically to the mission of the CDC.
There is no entry fee. Please note that the museum is closed between exhibitions for dismantling and installation.
