Formerly known as the Chicago Architecture Foundation, the Chicago Architecture Center is a nonprofit cultural organization with tours, exhibitions, programs and events for all ages. As Chicago’s forum for the exchange of ideas on urban design, the CAC inspires people to participate in the building of vibrant communities and to demand the highest standard in urban design.  CAC's mission is to inspire people to discover why design matters.

A highlight display is the 4,250-building scale model of Chicago.

Since Chicago is known around the world for its architecture, more than 85 guided walking tours are offered, touring iconic skyscrapers, elegant hotels or the legendary houses of Frank Lloyd Wright.
