Located in the historic de Witt Cottage [ca. 1895], at the oceanfront, in Virginia Beach, the Atlantic Wildfowl Heritage Museum was founded by the Back Bay Wildfowl Guild.
Exhibiting and housing artifacts from the region’s wildfowling history, as well as contemporary wildfowl art and carvings, the Museum promotes the wildfowling arts while educating about the rich heritage of wildfowling in North America, with particular focus on the Atlantic Flyway and its migratory waterfowl.
