Located in the historied Navarre Building (1880), across from the Brown Palace in downtown Denver, The Anschutz Collection is viewable by guided and self-guided tours on Mondays and Wednesdays.
The Museum displays art depicting the American West from the early 1800s, through the age of industrialization, to the present day. The exceptional collection of paintings surveys the history of the development of American Art as it pertains to the West and provides examples from all of the schools that contributed to that development.
