Founded in 2005, the museum's collections are housed in a historic 1926 Gothic Revival building. The museum, with 25,000 square feet, includes eight main exhibition galleries.
The Museum maintains two distinct collections that serve its mission to explore and promote the spiritual in art of all faiths and cultures. The D'Arcy Collection comprises more than 500 works of european art from the 12th-19th centuries -- from the Middle Ages, Renaissance, and Baroque eras. The LUMA Collection encompass art from periods and faiths beyond the D’Arcy, also reflects the Museum's exhibition mission.
