The Henry opened to the public on February 10, 1927, and continues to collect and exhibit established and emerging contemporary artists.
The museum houses more than 25,000 objects, including new media, sculpture, video, photographs, paintings, and works on paper, as well as costumes, textiles, and ceramics.
