Located in the Fine Arts building of San Francisco State University, the gallery hosts four exhibitions annually, two exploring international contemporary art and historical examinations of the diversity of art in California and the West, and two featuring student work.
The gallery is staffed by Department of Art students, working in a professional gallery environment.
The Fine Arts Gallery presents both professional and student-oriented exhibitions every semester. Professional exhibitions are organized to spotlight the range and diversity of both contemporary and historical art.
