The Samek Art Museum collection numbers 5,000 objects with a concentration of modern and contemporary art. Also notable are Baroque and Renaissance works, a gift of the Samuel H. Kress Foundation; and modern and contemporary Japanese decorative art.
Temporary exhibitions and permanent art installations are mounted in the Samek Gallery, the Downtown Gallery, and the Museum Collection Study Room.
The Downtown Gallery is located at 416 Market Street, Lewisburg, in the historic DeWitt Building serves as an exhibition space.
Note that the Samek Art Museum is closed during academic holidays and breaks.
