Guilford College Art Gallery aims to promote interdisciplinary approaches to the study and interpretation of art.
The Permanent Collection offers a broad representation of periods, styles and cultures. It includes more than 1000 works by more than 450 artists.
Although 20th-century American art is emphasized, the collection also includes renowned artists such as Rembrandt, Picasso and Dali, works from the Renaissance and Baroque periods, an impressive selection of contemporary Polish etchings and engravings, and a small collection of Josef and Anni Albers art and archival material.
