ICP is dedicated to the practice and understanding of photography and the reproduced image in all its forms.
ICP explores the history and future of image-making through a program of exhibitions, education and a robust archive. Exhibitions are on view at the new Museum on Bowery as well as through traveling exhibitions.
ICP has moved!
Two previous locations (at 1133 Ave of the Americas and most recently at 250 Bowery) are permanently closed.
In January 2020, the International Center of Photography will reunite its Museum and School to create an integrated center at 79 Essex Street on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. ICP’s new home spans a full city block between Ludlow Street and Essex Street.
