The Elizabeth Myers Mitchell Gallery is not a collecting institution. Since it's founding in 1989, it has concentrated on mounting temporary exhibitions in the award-winning modern gallery space designed by architect Chip Bohl.
Exhibitions have presented celebrated artists including Bruegel, Calder, Rembrandt, Rodin, Motherwell and Johns, as well as many exhibits of unique historical and regional interest, such as photography by A. Aubrey Bodine and Marion Warren, and The National Craft Show.
