The Permanent Collection of more than 500 comprises primarily 20th and 21st century works by international, national, and regionally-acclaimed artists. All modern and contemporary styles and periods, including Cubism, Realism, Pop Art, Non-objective Art, Folk Art, and Illustration are all featured. The Museum also owns a selection of European and American decorative glass, African art and sculptural works.
Notable artists represented include Miriam Schapiro, John James Audubon, Emil Holzhauer, Thomas Hart Benton, Käthe Kollwitz, Alexander Calder, Pablo Picasso and Louise Nevelson.
Located in Pensacola's downtown arts district in a former jail.
