Marcus Jansen: DECADE

Artis—Naples, The Baker Museum is proud to present the first US museum retrospective of Marcus Jansen, an American mid-career abstract artist who has been called a pioneer in redefining urban landscape painting for the last two decades. A former soldier who lives and works in Fort Myers, Jansen was first influenced by the emerging and rebellious graffiti art movement in New York City in the mid-`80s before establishing himself as a painter with a large following in Southwest Florida, New York and Europe alike.
