Beginning in August, the Triton Museum will offer ArtsAbled: What Barriers? This exhibition will feature artists who have had to deal with various disabilities (cerebral palsy, dismemberment, paralysis, etc.), while simultaneously creating great works of art. It is a testament to the drive and perseverance of the human spirit and the need to create. This exhibition will help us to better understand both the difficulties of physical impairment, and more than that, the tremendous and wondrous potential for expression beyond these so-called difficulties, through the exercise of art.
