Art as Activism

Inspiring action. Today’s Northern Plains Tribal artists use art to explore and comment on our nation’s history and current events. 

In this exhibition, works from the Permanent Collection of the Visual Arts Center by nationally prominent Northern Plains Tribal artists such as David Paul Bradley and Oscar Howe join artwork by select contemporary Native artists for a visual conversation on the capacity of art to inspire action.
